Faculty Recruitment
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Professor of Human Genomic Variation joint with the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology. Please visit our Employment page for more information.
Through the 2003 Chancellor’s New Idea Initiative, the CCB was awarded seven new faculty FTE for the purpose of hiring faculty in areas that will help achieve the goals of the Computational Biology Initiative. Search areas are determined by the Executive Committee after consultation with germane departments, colleges and schools; searches are carried out by interdisciplinary search committees chaired by CCB faculty. When appropriate, faculty appointments are joint between two academic units. Thus far, four of the seven have been filled, with the remaining cohort expected to be filled in the coming years. Initiative hires are listed below.
If your department is interested in searching with the CCB, please contact Director Lior Pachter or the administrative manager, Brian McClendon.
