Street parking: Metered and 2-hour street parking is available around campus, although it may be difficult to find a spot.

A map of all UC Berkeley parking lots is available here: The rate to park in campus lots is $3 for the first hour and $0.50 for each half hour thereafter, up to a max of $12 (for all-day parking). Tickets must be purchased at the yellow dispensing machines typically located near the lots’ entrance. The machines accept only $1 and $5 bills, quarters, nickels, and dimes. Be advised that the machines do not give change. Tickets must be placed face up on the dashboard; failure to do so will result in a citation that would be extremely difficult (if not impossible) to overturn. Please be sure to read all posted signs and do not park in spaces marked “Reserved.” The lots nearest Li Ka Shing are the Genetics underground lot, off of Berkeley Way (Indoor lot, 280 spaces); the University Hall Structure, off Addison between Oxford and Shattuck (76 spaces); and West Cresent and West Circle lots, off Oxford at Center or University (Outdoor, 32 spaces).
