Berkeley Seq I, the inaugural workshop on analysis of Next Generation sequencing data at UC Berkeley, will take place on June 30, 2012. This first year, the workshop is being organized by Lior Pachter and will focus on analytical tools and workflows for RNA-Seq experiments. The one-day meeting will feature a morning of talks, an on-site lunch, and afternoon live demonstrations of the Cufflinks and eXpress software packages. Participants should familiarize themselves with the software packages prior to the meeting.

Registration

Members of the academic and broader scientific communities are invited to participate. A registration fee is required to help cover the costs associated with the workshop. Registration fees are below. Your registration fee includes participation in the workshop (unless you opt for the Remote Viewing option), lunch, and on-demand access to a recording of the workshop and downloadable slides for two weeks.

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation deadline is June 14, 2012. Cancellations received by this date will be refunded the registration cost less a processing fee of 10% of the registration + $3.95. Cancellations received after the deadline will not be refunded. Failure to arrive at the workshop will be treated as a late cancellation and will not be refunded. Registrations are non‐transferable, meaning a registrant may not transfer her or his registration to another for any reason.
