Discover career self advocacy with this workshop! Whether you are in the early stages of your PhD program and still adjusting to grad life at Berkeley, or farther along and thinking about post-grad life, join us to learn about tangible career planning steps you can take to bridge the gap between your current and future self.
We will introduce you to the Individual Development Plan (IDP) – an easy-to-use planning instrument that helps students thoughtfully design and track professional development goals and learning objectives. You’ll receive resources and suggestions, and through breakout activities have opportunities to identify key skills, establish goals, and communicate effectively to set yourself up for success.
