Dr. Lydia The is a Partner in McKinsey’s Pharmaceutical & Medical Products Practice, based out of the Silicon Valley office since joining in September 2014. In this role, she serves clients in the pharmaceutical industry on a wide range of topics, especially on R&D strategy and market access with a therapeutic area focus on oncology/immuno-oncology. She received her PhD in Molecular Biology at UC Berkeley in 2014. She studied the molecular mechanisms of atopic dermatitis in Diana Bautista’s lab in the Department of Molecular & Cell Biology. She previously received her BA in Biology at Swarthmore College.
