Dr. Andy Hsieh is currently a biotech equity research analyst and partner at William Blair & Company, LLC. Subsequent to graduating from UCB with a PhD in Chemistry in 2012, he participated in a summer internship at Cowen Inc. and joined William Blair in January 2014 as a research associate. In July 2017, he was promoted to a senior analyst focusing mostly on biotech companies developing oncology therapeutics. Andy will be sharing his personal experience transitioning from academia to Wall Street and provide an introduction into the field of equity research.
