QB3-Berkeley offers shared research facilities to provide advanced instrumentation, technologies, and materials, along with the technical leaders to manage them and provide expert service. Access to these resources enables scientists and engineers to develop medical devices, drugs, and therapies that improve lives, as well as technologies to alleviate environmental damage and improve energy production and use.
These facilities are primarily used by UC-affiliated researchers, but may provide services in some cases to users from other academic institutions as well as industry and government labs. Please visit individual web sites to learn more about each facility’s capabilities and rates. To explore QB3 research facilities located at UC San Francisco and UC Santa Cruz, visit here.
