Get guidance on finding funding! This information session/workshop is particularly of interest to late stage doctoral students and postdocs, but there are opportunities in the Pivot database for students at all levels
This session will include:
- Best Practices for Finding Funding (will discuss how to read an RFP, confirm eligibility, assess match to sponsor)
- Types of Funding for Trainees (will briefly highlight Federal vs. Private awards, types of awards and some common mechanisms (F31s, T32s)
- Pivot Demo (will cover registering, basic and advanced searching, saving opps and searches)
- Q&A
