This event is a great opportunity for trainees who are interested in learning about IP, VC and entrepreneurship! Darren Cooke (bio: https://lsec.berkeley.edu/people) will share his own career experiences as a scientist diving into the world of intellectual property and start-ups, and discuss how different sectors work to support STEM entrepreneurs (private companies, federal agencies such as NSF, and academic institutions like UC Berkeley). Learn about the newest addition to trainee support – LSEC – which offers workshops, fellowships and networking opportunities.
