Markita Landry, professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering at UC Berkeley, has received the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative’s Frontiers of Imaging grant to support her research in deep tissue imaging. The grant aims to accelerate the development of disruptive imaging technologies that connect biological scales. Landry’s project will enable researchers to achieve imaging at cellular resolution and several millimeters deep in some of the most challenging biological tissues—including brain and plant tissues.
